Traveling Friends

Each of us wants to return to the habitual and precisely one of the activities that returning to this habituality implies is travel. The big question is when will we return and how will we travel? Surely you should know that each trip brings its own surprises, a challenge, a group of new friends along the way and perhaps a different destination than the desired one but always taking care of your health (now more than ever).

We want to help you in planning your next adventure and that is why we share some tips and recommendations:

Protect yourself when you travel:

  • Keep a distance of 1 to 2 meters between you and others

  • Avoid the crowds

  • Use the recommended Kn95 masks

  • Carry a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

  • Wash your hands frequently for about 20 seconds with soap and water.

Find out about the place you want to travel to:

  • Learn about local restrictions for coronavirus. Travel restrictions may vary from site to site

  • Find information for visitors and business hours (restaurants, parks, tourist sites, etc., that you want to visit).

  • Remember to check back for updates as your travel date approaches.

Airports:

  • We recommend that you review the websites of the airports and airlines to find out about the measures that each one is taking.

  • Each traveler may have a container with hand sanitizer of up to 12 ounces (approx. 350 milliliters) in their carry-on luggage. These containers must be removed for registration.

  • Both the crew and the travelers must wear masks.

  • Personal items such as keys, wallets, and phones should be put in carry-on luggage and not on the tray. This makes objects touch less during registration

  • Make sure to wash your hands before and after going through the control and registration.

Bus trips:

  • It is recommended to use gloves, a mask and a face shield to reduce the risks of contagion.

  • Prepare food and water to take with you.

  • Consider loading and unloading your own luggage when getting on and off the bus

  • Clean the area where you are going to sit

  • Keep physical distance and use hand sanitizer

Make a list of things to take:

  • Kn95 masks (do not reuse)

  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer

  • Face shield (you might feel safer)

  • Disinfectant wipes for cleaning surfaces

  • Thermometer

  • Disposable gloves
